Fo.re.s.t.
The Fo.re.s.t. Terminal is a well-established name in the shipping industry and has a proven logistic know-how to be considered as a specialist in the handling of forest products, that also includes the stuffing and the stripping of containers.
As of 1st January 2010, the range of terminal services has been widened to meet the ever-increasing customers’ needs.
The company operates a berth that is on the west side of Ponte Somalia, over a length of approx. 200m and a draught of 10m. Terminal work is conducted in full compliance with regulations defined by Law nr. 84/94.
The storage facilities include 8.500 sqm of covered warehouse, plus 8.000 sqm of open area.
The cargo manipulation is carried out by way of the Terminal own equipment, including a Gottwald 100-ton crane, for ships’ discharging and loading, along with a number of forklifts.
Fo.re.s.t. is equipped with a reachstacker enabling the handling of containers.
Fo.re.s.t. has the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification and the Ohsas 18.001 health and safety management system certification.
